Measurement Technician

Your Role

As a Measurement Technician, you will work within the Quality Department.

The department currently consists of 6 people and is responsible for checking production-manufactured articles and providing measurement technical expertise in connection with deviations and investigations within production. This is done in close collaboration with purchasing and production quality.

You will, together with other employees in the department, contribute to maintaining the correct quality of manufactured articles.

Main Responsibilities

• Program and perform measurements in coordinate measuring machines
• Measurements using hand-held measuring tools
• Calibrations
• Document performed inspections
• Administer quality documentation in the business system IFS
• Visits and measurements at suppliers
• Support to production

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are meticulous, structured, and analytical. You need to be flexible and able to act based on daily priorities.

Furthermore, you need to be engaged, able to collaborate effectively, and have a talent for building networks.

Requirements

• Education in measurement technology or equivalent experience in measurement technical work
• Good knowledge of reading drawings, including form and position
• Good communication skills in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English
• Driver's license Class B

Meritorious

• Experience working with Zeiss, CE Johansson, Mitutoyo, DEA, Hexagon measuring machines
• Experience working with Leica, Absolute Tracker, Measuring Arm
• Experience with Polyworks software
• Knowledge of measurement with hand-held measuring tools
• Experience with NC-controlled machines

Work at other locations may occur.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
